“Miss Hazel, Miss Karina was very excited to hear you were being released. She originally wanted to pick you up personally, but Mrs. Eleanor had an episode today, so Miss Karina returned to the estate and sent me instead.”
I hummed lightly.
“Should I take you to Miss Karina’s villa to wait for her first?” the driver asked politely.
I opened my eyes: “How far is Blood Moon Pack’s estate?”
The driver replied: “Not far, about the same distance as going to Miss Karina’s villa from here.”
“Then let’s go to Blood Moon Pack estate.”
The driver was stunned: “This… alright.”
The driver instinctively obeyed my powerful aura.
Turning the steering wheel, he headed directly toward Blood Moon Pack estate.
Third Person POV:
Silver Moon Pack.
The entire family gathered in the living room. After Arthur returned, everyone’s expressions became particularly ugly.
Silver Moon Pack’s Alpha, everyone’s father, Caden angrily said: “She’s still not coming back? Does she expect me to personally pick her up?”
Arthur looked at the cake on the table and frowned: “Whatever. No one wanted her back anyway. Just wasted Caroline’s thoughtfulness.”
Third brother Victor wasn’t worried at all: “Don’t worry, she’ll come back eventually. There’s nowhere else for her out there.”
They all knew clearly that aside from Silver Moon Pack, Hazel had nowhere else to go.
Caroline wiped her tears pitifully: “It’s all my fault… Hazel must not want to come back because of me.”
Fourth brother Gerald was displeased: “Why are you blaming yourself? Don’t take everything on yourself.”
Caroline suddenly thought of something: “Wait, Arthur, you said a luxury car picked her up? What luxury car? Didn’t Hazel just get out of prison? How could someone pick her up? And her connections couldn’t possibly know such people…”
Although Arthur had mentioned this, they hadn’t paid attention initially.
Thinking about it now, it was indeed strange.
Hazel just got out of prison who would pick her up?

At this time, Blood Moon Pack estate was equally lively.
“This illness is torture for Mother too. Perhaps…”

So when she spoke, the two brothers who had been arguing immediately fell silent.
“Easy to say – how do we cure it? Mother’s strange illness has been treated for years without success!” Charles sneered: “With Blood Moon Pack’s resources, we’ve consulted every expert, yet we can’t even name the disease!”
“Who says it can’t be cured?” Karina said gravely: “Wait a little longer. A miracle might happen.”
She got out today.
As long as she’s out, there’s a chance.
“Do you believe that yourself? Mother’s illness stumped the top werewolf doctors. Who else in this world can treat it?” Charles’s wife snorted coldly. “Mother’s been sick for years. If it could be cured, it would have been long ago.”
These words brought everyone’s mood to rock bottom.
Mrs. Eleanor, Blood Moon Pack’s Alpha, had contracted a strange illness five years ago. Half her day was spent in deep sleep, and whenever she was awake, her whole body felt like it was being gnawed by thousands of ants, even convulsing all over.
To reduce Mrs. Eleanor’s suffering, they could only give her daily sedatives and keep her sleeping for long periods.
But this wasn’t a long–term solution.
Today Mrs. Eleanor had another episode, so the whole family rushed back to the estate.
Just when everyone felt hopeless,
A clear, calm girl’s voice rang out from outside: “I can cure it.”
