The store instantly fell silent.
All three of their faces changed.
Caroline’s shrill voice pierced through: “Hazel? How are you here?”
She looked me up and down, her face full of disbelief.
How could someone who just got out of prison dress so well? How could she look so good?
Not only was she shocked, Victor and Gerald were also staring at me, each looking like they’d seen a ghost.
Victor called out: “Hazel?”
Gerald said coldly: “You still have the nerve to appear in front of us? Why didn’t you go home when Arthur went to pick you up? Where did you run off to fool around?”
I chuckled lightly and looked at the saleswoman: “I want that bag. I see that lady has been looking at it for a while without buying it – she probably doesn’t like it.”
The saleswoman looked at Caroline awkwardly: “Miss Caroline, do
Ou want it?”
Caroline glared at me as if she’d heard some joke: “You want it? Hazel, stop fooling around, okay? Do you know where this is? Fine, I know you’ve never been to a luxury store in your life. You think this bag costs a few dozen dollars?”
She lowered her voice and leaned toward me: “Stop embarrassing Silver Moon Pack out here.”
I curved my lips and directly pulled out a card from my bag, handing it to the saleswoman: “Please wrap this bag for me.”
The saleswoman’s eyes immediately lit up when she saw the gleaming gold card, her attitude toward me becoming several times more courteous: “Yes, miss, I’ll process this for you right away.”
Caroline’s expression became very ugly, but she simply didn’t believe I had money: “Hazel, stop pretending. You can’t possibly have money.”
Victor and Gerald, seeing the card in my hand, were also somewhat puzzled.
“Where did you get the money?” Victor’s tone carried cold questioning.
Gerald was even angrier: “Are you sick? Why do you have to compete with Caroline for things? Didn’t you see that Caroline liked this bag first?”
I sneered: “What business is it of yours what I buy? What relationship do we have? Moreover, just because you don’t have money doesn’t mean I can’t buy it.”
That one sentence stumped them both.
If they said I was part of Silver Moon Pack, they had never truly acknowledged me as their sister.
But the saleswoman didn’t care about any of this she only recognized the card.
“Miss Caroline, you see, since you looked at this bag first, if you pay now we’ll sell it to you. If you can’t pay now, we’ll sell it to this lady.”
The saleswoman’s words immediately angered Caroline.
She was Silver Moon Pack’s young lady was this saleswoman questioning whether she could afford things?
“Who said I’m not buying? Who doesn’t have money and who’s pretending – they know in their heart!”
She immediately looked at those two brothers with pitiful eyes that, combined with her already pleasing face, made her particularly sympathetic.

I scoffed.
Gerald said awkwardly: “The allowance Luna gave us is all spent… I’ll buy it for you next month.”
Caroline’s face immediately became even uglier.
I glanced at the saleswoman, who immediately understood and went to swipe the card.
I casually pointed at several bags: “This one, that one–wrap them all up for me.”
“Miss, I’ll wrap them all up for you right away.” The saleswoman was all smiles.
Watching me point out bag after bag, Caroline’s face felt like it had been slapped in public several times, burning with pain.
Victor and Gerald also exchanged glances.
“Hazel, where did you get this money?!” Victor questioned in a low voice: “Did you do something dirty?”
At this moment, Maxwell walked in: “Miss, have you finished choosing?”
I smiled: “I’m done. But I encountered a few dogs who like to bark a lot.”
Gerald’s face immediately flushed red, angry enough to strike: “Hazel, what are you saying?! Are you crazy? Don’t forget I’m your brother!”
Maxwell was quick to grab his arm, making him unable to move.
Gerald roared: “Let me go!”
I said flatly: “Really? I don’t remember having any brothers. I’m a lowly, dirty rogue
wolf.”
Caroline looked at me, then at Maxwell, her face full of disbelief: “You… became someone’s mistress? That’s why you have money, right? Hazel, how could you be so depraved?! Do you know that if the Alpha and Luna found out about this, they’d be very disappointed?!”
Maxwell opened his mouth to explain but was stopped by my raised hand.
“Then hurry home and tell them – you can’t even afford a bag. Silver Moon Pack’s princess lives worse than me, a mistress.”
Caroline was so angry her eyes turned red: “You… you’re shameless!”
I glanced at them sideways and turned to leave the luxury store.
But just as I reached the door, I stopped and turned back.
As if I remembered there was still something I hadn’t done.
Then I raised my hand and gave Caroline a hard slap.
