Brad shouted, banging on the door.
A second later, he kicked the door in.
When he saw me and Liam in each other’s
arms, his eyes went bloodshot, his whole
body shaking.
He looked like an enraged animal.
He couldn’t believe it. He’d left me alone for
five minutes, and I’d already hooked up with
Liam.
They were supposed to be friends.
But he was always jealous of Liam, because
Liam was better than him.
Now his girlfriend was with Liam.
“Mandy, why are you cheating? Why would you betray me?”
Brad was trembling. He was looking at me
with pure rage.
Liam wrapped his arms around me, looking
down at Brad.
“What’s your problem? Go back to the psych
ward.”
Liam was taller and stronger than Brad.
That set Brad off, reminding him of
something bad.
Brad’s eyes were bloodshot, and he threw a
punch at Liam.
“You don’t screw your buddy’s girlfriend!”
“Liam, we’re supposed to be friends! You
messing with my girl?!”
Liam blocked the punch, not giving an inch.
“Girlfriend? You asked me to look after a
friend.”
I grabbed Liam’s arm, worried Brad would
hurt him.
“Mandy! You should be worried about me.
Get over here!”
Brad roared.
I looked into Brad’s bloodshot eyes and said.
“We broke up.”
“Who I’m with is my business. You don’t get
to tell me what to do!”
Brad looked like he couldn’t believe what he
was hearing.
く
He started chuckling, shaking his head.
“You’re just messing with me, because I ran
off with Ashley.”
“You love me too much to leave me.

He was delusional. I couldn’t get through to
him.
No matter how many times I said we were
over, he thought I wouldn’t leave him.
Then the door burst open again.
It was Ashley.
She looked at Liam with disdain.
“Liam, what’s your relationship with this girl? Don’t you know she’s Brad’s ex?”
Liam didn’t care.
“What’s it to you? As of last night, she’s
mine.”
་
Last night… Brad started shaking. They’d
hooked up last night.
He stared at me, trying to stay calm.
“Mandy, come back to me, and I’ll forget this
happened.”
I looked down at Brad’s crotch.
“I can’t. I prefer a bigger package.”
