Hazel’s POV:
The live competition had already begun.
Everyone’s attention was focused on the screen, and as the battle unfolded, the atmosphere at the commentary desk became increasingly heated. Joseph, another guest, and I sat beside the commentary seats, invited to participate in the interaction.
“The match is halfway through now. Do Hazel and Joseph have anything to say?” the host asked us with a smile. “Which team do you think will be the final winner?”
I slightly curved my lips: “Only passion and fervor deserve to win.”
Joseph beside me gently smiled, agreeing: “She’s right.”
While we were talking, Caroline had been killed several more times.
No matter how much she pretended to have a good mentality, she was about to lose it now. Gerald’s tone in the team voice chat was becoming increasingly impatient.
Unsurprisingly, their team suffered a crushing defeat in the first round.
Caroline took off her headphones and immediately cursed at the opposing team: “You just know how to bully me for not knowing how to play. What kind of skill is that!”
Ha, typical of someone who can’t handle setbacks.
The opposing team captain didn’t coddle her at all, smiling and saying: “Winning and losing is a team matter. You’re one of our opponents AND an easy target, of course we’re going to target you. Why the hell should we go easy on you in a competition
anyways?”
Caroline bit her lip, her eyes full of anger.
I propped my chin up to watch the drama, a lazy smile playing on my lips: “Looks like we won’t encounter their team in our exhibition match.”
Joseph frowned looking at the other side: “This is Silver Moon Pack’s princess?”
The undisguised disdain in his tone made me laugh involuntarily.
Caroline’s gaze drifted over, her eyes reddening, looking pitiful.
I said slowly: “Maybe it’s just her upbringing.”
As soon as these words came out, the bullet comments started scrolling frantically.

She gritted her teeth and sneered: “She obviously doesn’t know how to play either. How can she be in the final match? The production team is doing this on purpose, right?”

I looked at her with a sweet smile: “If you have the ability, come sit in my seat.”
Her expression immediately changed.

Gerald lowered his head, his face full of shame, unable to even respond.
