The symbol was so rare that he stared at it for several seconds before confirming that Aaliyah had blocked him, not the other way around. In that instant, something flashed through his mind, and he tried calling again, only to get the same electronic tone.
Aaliyah had actually blocked him!
What the hell was she trying to do? Had he somehow let his guard down and shown he loved her, making her think she could play games with him? Otherwise, how could she possibly block him?
Claude’s face turned ice-cold. Before he could figure out what was going on, Caroline suddenly shrieked.
“Claude, so you and Aaliyah are actually divorced!”
What? Divorced? Hadn’t he and Aaliyah just withdrawn the papers?
Claude’s mind went blank for a second, then he turned to look at Caroline.
The woman’s face was obviously gleeful, holding official divorce papers in her hands.

Jut Claude had no patience left to deal with her. He called his security and had Caroline thrown out, along with the movers she’d hired.
Only after the villa was completely empty did Claude collapse, holding his head, unable to believe that Aaliyah had actually divorced him.

His panicked expression gradually calmed as Claude called his assistant.
