Frank took my hand and led me towards the speedboat moored by the shore.
The sea breeze whipped wildly, tousling our hair.
In no time, we reached the pre–arranged diving spot.
We put on our diving gear and slowly submerged into the water.
The vibrant coral reefs and the tropical
fish darting among them created a dreamy underwater world.
My once – taut nerves began to relax gradually in the face of this magical scenery.
However, just as we were immersed in the beauty, a powerful undercurrent suddenly surged

Frank’s eyes widened with alarm, and without a moment’s hesitation, he swam straight towards

The undercurrent grew more and more violent, dragging me into an area filled with jagged rocks.
I stared in horror as the sharp reefs loomed

At the critical moment, Frank reached me.
He pulled me tightly into his arms, shielding me with his own body.
His back hit the reef with a thud, and blood immediately spread in the water.
Enduring the excruciating pain, Frank held me close and struggled to kick his legs, swimming
towards the surface.
Finally, we broke through the water.
Frank laboriously pushed me onto the speedboat before climbing on himself.

I took off my diving mask and, upon seeing the wound on Frank’s back, tears welled up in my eyes and spilled over.
Frank gave a weak smile, his voice faint but resolute. “Yulia, don’t be afraid. I’m okay.”
Frank then revved up the speedboat and set a
course for the shore. Throughout the journey, I clung tightly to Frank’s hand.
Once we reached the shore, the waiting paramedics swiftly rushed forward and carefully lifted Frank onto a stretcher, then whisked him away to the hospital.
I paced anxiously outside the emergency room, each passing second dragging on interminably.
Finally, the doctor emerged. With a sigh of relief, he informed me that Frank was out of
immediate danger.
When I entered the hospital room, Frank was already awake.
His face was ashen, but the moment he saw me walk in, his eyes lit up. “Yulia. I’m so sorry I

In the days that followed, I threw myself wholeheartedly into caring for Frank.
Every single morning, I would rush to the hospital before the sun had fully risen, a bag filled with his favorite breakfast clutched tightly in my hand
With each passing day, I found myself daring to hope that this time, our love could weather any
storm.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, Frank recovered and returned to his
office.

I pulled it out and saw that it was a video from
Rosy.
There, on the screen, was Alpha Frank,
passionately kissing Rosy.
“Alpha Frank, are you really only with that
woman to get back at her uncle?”
Alpha Frank lifted his head from her embrace. “What do I have to do to make you believe me?”
Rosy’s voice was laced with sobs as she pleaded, “Make Yulia have an accident, and then I’ll believe you, please. Just do it, okay?”
Alpha Frank fell silent.
“Alright.”
Suddenly, the video came to an abrupt end.
My fingers trembled uncontrollably, and my phone slipped from my grasp.
