In the hospital ward, the pungent smell of disinfectant stung the nostrils.
Alpha Frank bolted upright from the hospital bed.
Thick bandages were wrapped around his chest, with faint traces of blood seeping through.
But he seemed impervious to the pain as he flung off the covers and attempted to get out of bed.
“Where’s Yulia? Where is Yulia?”
The assistant Daniel replied, “Alpha Frank, you’ve been asleep for two weeks. The doctor
said you were on the verge of becoming a

Suddenly, the double doors of the auditorium
burst open.
I turned my head to see Alpha Frank, looking disheveled and pale, staggering in.

With that, he dropped to his knees with a
resounding “thud“, his knees hitting the floor so
hard that a dull, reverberating sound echoed

Alpha Mike let out a cold, mocking laugh.
“Fine, if you won’t leave, then watch us have our wedding right in front of your eyes,”
In an instant, the bodyguards swarmed forward, grabbing hold of Alpha Frank.
He struggled violently, thrashing and twisting in their grasp, but their hold was unyielding.
Forced into a seat, Alpha Frank could only watch in agony as Yulia and Alpha Mike stood at
the altar.
His heart felt as if it were bleeding profusely, and Yulia’s words, “I don’t love you anymore. It’s really over,” echoed relentlessly in his ears.
The wedding ceremony resumed.
The pastor’s voice resonated through the grand auditorium. “Alpha Mike, do you take Yulia to be your luna, to love her, honor her, and protect
her, in sickness and in health, for richer or for
poorer, until death do you part?”

The pastor then turned to Yulia. “Yulia, do you take Alpha Mike to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love him, honor him, and protect him, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, until death do you part?”
Yulia’s voice was soft yet unwavering. “I do.”
As the wedding came to an end, the guests gradually filtered out, leaving only a few people lingering in the auditorium.
I walked gracefully to where Alpha Frank sat.
I held a first–aid kit in my hands and gently placed it in front of him.
“Your blood has soaked through your clothes. Tend to it yourself,”
Alpha Frank looked up at me, his eyes swimming with pain and remorse. “Yulia, do
you really… not love me anymore?”

Alpha Frank’s face paled instantly. “Yulia, do you really have to be like this?”
I turned to leave.
But in an instant, he grabbed my wrist tightly, his voice filled with a desperate plea. “Yulia, do you truly love him? Or… is this to get back at
me?”
My steps faltered for a moment.
“Alpha Frank, I’ve truly fallen in love with him. Only a madman would use someone as a
means of revenge.”

hollowed out.
