Chapter 800 I’ve Got Plenty of Money
Hayley’s POV:
48 Pearls
“The owner?” The guards exchanged looks, confused. “Are you saying these two ladies own the mall?”
“No way! The general manager is a guy, and his last
isn’t Estrada!”
“The owner changed hands five minutes ago,” the manager said, voice raised and final.
“What did you just say?” Celine looked like she couldn’t believe it. “This entire mall was sold in minutes?”
“We have to thank you for that,” the manager replied with a grin. “If it weren’t for your behavior, no one would’ve offered five times the mall’s value.”
“Five times?! That’s insane!” Celine looked like her
brain–circuited.
The manager ignored her completely and turned toward us, bowing slightly. “Ms. Estrada, Ms. Carson, is there anything else I can help you with?”
I shot a look at Celine and smirked. “Yeah. I don’t want trash like her ruining my day.”
“Exactly. Toss her out. And don’t let her back in,” Scarlett chimed in.
Celine crossed her arms and bared her teeth. “Don’t you dare!”
The manager’s voice cut clean through hers. “You guys heard the boss. Get her out of here!”
Two from the group of werewolf bodyguards didn’t hesitate as they grabbed Celine and started hauling her toward the exit.
“Let go of me! You’ll regret this! I’ll never forgive you! Ah-”
Her shrieks echoed as she disappeared. The guards who had sided with her earlier dropped to their knees, shaking.
Now that they were gone, the store returned to calm.
The manager turned to Freya and asked me, “What would you like us to do about Ms. Sander?”
Freya froze for a second, her eyes flickering with panic, but she quickly put her usual smug look back on. “No need. I’ll leave by myself.”
She paused, then glared at me. “Hayley, you’re making enemies everywhere. Don’t come running to me when payback comes knocking!” –
I shrugged fearlessly and smirked. “Just make sure you’re still around to see it. You might not get the chance.”
Freya clenched her fists as she stared at me for a few seconds, then stormed out in anger.
“Hold on-” Scarlett said slowly, dragging out the word. The guards at the entrance got the message and blocked Freya’s path.
“Leave the stuff,” Scarlett said coolly.

“I paid for these!” Freya snapped through clenched teeth,
Scarlett crossed her arms, giving her the smuggest look ever. “So what? I’ll give you double the price you paid. I’ve got plenty of money. My mall doesn’t serve people like you.”
Watching Freya on the verge of losing it, I gave Scarlett a thumbs–up.
“Fine! Whatever!” Freya spat. “Hayley, this isn’t over!”
She gave us both a nasty glare, threw he
bolted out of the store.

It was obvious that the Sanders had gone all out for this event.
Even the house staff standing on both sides of the main path to greet us were high–ranking werewolf enforcers.

But Virginia and Laurel were nowhere in sight.
Everything looked super formal and respectful, but I knew better that it was all just about interests.
Halfway down the path, Freya rushed over and linked arms with me, pretending to be all warm and excited.

As soon as Hera picked up Freya’s scent, she started getting agitated inside me.
I calmed Hera down and leaned in close to Freya, whispering with a smirk, “Your acting is perfect.”
Still putting on her elegant act, Freya forced a sweet smile and replied, “I’ve got a special surprise waiting for you. Are you looking forward to it?”
