He realized now he signed without looking.
Katie had been playing him.
And now, the whole pack knew about his affair with Dakota.
All eyes were on him and Dakota.
Liam rushed out of the venue. He couldn’t believe what had just happened.
He quickly called his finest men, ordering them to search for Katie immediately.
‘Find her, no matter where she is,” he barked into the phone.
He turned to his beta, Adam, his eyes blazing with intensity. “Control social media. Make sure hose videos and pictures don’t get out too far.”
Adam nodded, already typing away on his phone. “I’m on it, Alpha.”
Meanwhile, Dakota finally found her way out of the hall. Desperate.
She grabbed Liam’s arm, trying to hold him back. “Where are you going?” she demanded. “You’r
ot going to leave me here, are you?”
His face darkened. He grabbed her neck, his fingers tightening around it. “You wanted to destro ne, didn’t you?” he growled.
Dakota’s eyes widened. She gasped for air. “Please… let go…you’re…you’re hurting me,” sh
hoked out. –

But Liam wasn’t listening.

Dakota’s eyes flashed with anger. But she knew better than to push him further. She watched as ne got into his car and drove off, leaving her standing there.
Alone. Humiliated.
Everybody was looking at her with disdain.
As she stood there, trying to gather her thoughts, her phone started ringing.

It was Lucian’s mom, followed by a call from her own parents. Her heart sank as she answered her parents‘ call.
“What’s going on?” she asked, trying to sound calm.
“Lucian’s mom is here. She’s demanding to see you. You need to come home now.”
Dakota’s anxiety spiked as she made her way to her parents‘ house. She knew she was in
trouble.
When she arrived, Lucian’s mom, Cora, was waiting for her, her face stern and unforgiving. “I’ve come to tell you that the marriage between our families is off,” she said, her voice cold.
Dakota’s parents were shocked, and they immediately started begging on her behalf. “Why would the marriage be off?” her mother asked, her voice pleading. “We thought everything was fine.”
Cora’s expression didn’t change. “Haven’t you seen what’s going on online? Your daughter is disgrace. We wouldn’t want to have anything to do with that kind of woman, to taint our family
ame.”
Dakota’s face burned with shame as she realized the extent of the damage she had caused. He
>arents looked at her with disappointment and frustration.
The scene was a mess. With everyone speaking at once.
Cora’s expression turned even colder as she delivered the next blow.

Cora raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t you think about that when you were flirting with anothe nan? Are you not pregnant with another man’s child?”
Dakota’s face turned red with shame. “No, no, no, no,” she said, shaking her head. “That was all ¡e. Those photos were photoshopped, they were edited. And I was not pregnant, I only said tha o spite Katie.”
Don’t try to spin this,” Cora huffed. “We know what we saw. And we know that you’re not the voman we thought you were.”
Dakota looked at her parents, hoping they would defend her, but they just shook their heads in disappointment.
You’ve brought shame to our family,” her father spoke angrily. “What were you thinking?”
Dakota rushed over to Cora holding her hand in a desperate plea. “Please, I’m sorry,” she begged. ‘Just give me an opportunity to make it up to Lucian. I’m really sorry, it’s all a misunderstanding.”
Cora angrily pushed Dakota off, and Dakota fell to the floor. “You’re not worthy of my son,”
Then she stormed off.
Dakota’s dad barked at her. “You have to fix this mess right now.”
She panicked and ran out of the house.
She was determined to find solace in the one person she thought would understand her.
