“Chad, please beg Grace for me. No, please beg Ms. Parrish.”
Chad, holding Yvonne tightly, reproached me, “Gracie, how can you be so cruel? The items have been returned. Why are you still making things difficult for Mr. Zander?”
I walked up to Chad and gave him a big slap on his face.
“Chad Parrish, did you forget that you’re my slave?”
Chad looked at me in disbelief.

In the past, my father had arranged them in alphabetical order, giving them our family name.
But I was the one who named Chad because he was the same age as me; we got along the best and I loved chatting with him.
“Grace, what did you just say?”
“I said you’re my slave! Have you forgotten your identity? Who gave you permission to call me by my first name?”
Chad looked at my cold expression and realized I wasn’t joking. His gaze shifted from reproach to resentment.
I remained unmoved. “Byron, fire all the maids here. They talk too much. I don’t like it.”
“Yes,” Byron replied, immediately starting to arrange it. The maids, shocked by the sudden loss of their jobs due to their loose tongues, mentally cursed Daniel and his entire ancestry.
“Send Yvonne to work at Moonlight River Club. She can leave when she finishes paying the debt.”
“Yes,” Byron respectfully nodded.
Yvonne, terrified, forgot to continue crying. She clung to Chad without letting go.
Chad had truly become the knight protecting the princess, as Chad fought with Byron and the men he brought.
I gave a sharp look to my bodyguards behind me.
In just seconds, Chad was held down, and Yvonne was taken away.
The maids fell silent, their gazes now full of respect and fear as they looked at me.
Just as I was eating the blue lobster and bluefin tuna that Byron had specially ordered for me from the kitchen, a cold voice rang out, “Grace, are you causing trouble again today?”
The owner of the voice exuded an aura of elegance, his every movement graceful. It was my fiancé, Antonio Kauf-
man.

I couldn’t help but sneer. “If you’re here for your other woman, you’re a bit too late, aren’t you?” I thought.
I didn’t respond to him. Antonio then sat beside me.
He took the towel handed to him by a maid, wiped his hands, and quietly began peeling shrimp for me.
Antonio’s slender hands with distinct joints looked very attractive.
In the past, I had thought Antonio was everything I liked, and I would give him even more affection.
So, slowly, I stopped being myself and started to cater to him.
Now that I thought about it, I really was foolish.
When Antonio finished peeling the shrimp and handed it to me, the only response he received was my cold gaze.
His hand froze in mid–air.
That’s wrong? Are you still upset?” Antonio asked.
d you come to beg for Yvonne?” I asked.
Antonio placed the shrimp on my plate elegantly, with an air of high nobility.
But no one knew that Antonio was once just an unwanted illegitimate child.

If it weren’t for my family, the Parrish family, taking interest in him, how could he have had the chance to rise? And how could he now act so elegantly?
“Yvonne grew up with you. How did you become so distant? Besides, her health isn’t good. Mr. Zander did it all for her health. You should forgive them whenever you can.”
“Oh? How should I forgive them?” I asked, my eyes wide with a smile, just like how I used to fawn over him.
“Just withdraw the case. If you care so much about the lost things, I’ll just pay for them.
“Yvonne’s health isn’t good. I know you’re just angry and wouldn’t really send her to Moonlight River Club. That’s a private club all sorts of people go to. How could she survive there?”
I scoffed at Antonio, unamused.
