“No,” Adelaide said with a smile in her voice.
“You laughing at me?”
“Adelaide was thinking, is his eyes poisonous or does he have
mind–reading abilities.”

“So it seems like they’re laughing at me,” Reginald lazily asked,
“just because buying an island is as easy as buying candy?”
…the thing about buying an island is just not going away, you

“Mr. Thorton.”
Someone shouted Reginald.
Their conversation came to a halt, Reginald raised his chin and
said, “Prof. Webster.”
Adelaide turned her face away and looked past.
At first sight, she recognized who this Donald Webster was.

She was surprised, didn’t expect Reginald to be the person he
was here to see.

Adelaide was taken aback, she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, but she didn’t know how to react in front of Donald.
Donald had a hint of ambiguity in his eyes and said with a smile, “Well, Mr. Thorton, you’ve hit the jackpot.”
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Reginald didn’t continue

Adelaide sat between them.
“Adelaide, was it your idea or Andy’s idea to bring Grady
Schmitt back?”
Adelaide thought they were going to talk about work, but then Donald suddenly asked this. Surprised, she regained her
composure and said, “If it wasn’t Mr. Schmitt’s idea, I wouldn’t
dare to do it on my own.”
Donald nodded, “Indeed.”
Reginald asked, “It looks like Prof. Webster personally
intervened, but he still refused to return to his country.”
Donald looked sad and said, “He’s just as stubborn as his mother.
I tried to give him some advice, but he kicked me out without
hesitation.”
In the end, he said helplessly to Adelaide, “Adelaide, I’m afraid
this thing can’t be done. Andy can only leave with regret. The
problem lies with them, mother and son. Now Anderson is just
