Alston said Ella only had a week left.

Every staff member knew about my severe soy allergy. They never gave me soy milk.
Lynn flashed me a smug look. She put soybeans in my drink.
“Al…Alston,” I reached toward him, desperately hoping he’d take me to the hospital too.
“Cut the act, Alani. Everyone knows about your allergy. Nobody would put soy in your milk.”
