Zina, who had been watching the drama unfold from backstage, instinctively stepped out at the sound of the commotion, inadvertently revealing herself to everyone,
“Zina! This is all your fault!” Rosie’s eyes, red–rimmed and furious, locked onto her. She looked ready to leap across the room and tear Zina apart.
But
ut even as most eyes turned to the fallen man, some were still watching her. Rosie knew she had to maintain some semblance of dignity.
She bit her lip hard, about to feign a look of weakness, when another voice cut through the noise.
“Don’t just crowd around him!”
“He’s looking worse!”
The venue had doctors on standby, and they rushed to the man’s side. But without knowing his medical history, they could only perform basic first aid.
Their efforts did nothing; in fact, the man’s color worsened, and he looked like he could die at any moment. The doctors. froze, afraid to do anything more.
Amid the panic, all eyes turned to Master Sylvan as he hurried over.
The man on the floor was gaunt, his body stick–thin. His exposed arms were covered in needle marks and faint bruises.
Master Sylvan took one look and said. “It looks like sudden, severe complications. Did he have surgery recently? Is anyone here with him?”
The man appeared to be in shock. Even he couldn’t risk treating him without knowing more.

Besides, without any medical equipment, it was impossible to make a proper diagnosis on the spot.

e room fell silent. Master Sylvan’s jaw tightened, his hands clenched into fists.
He took a deep breath, about to risk his reputation and try something, when a familiar figure stepped forward.
“Let me try.”
The woman’s voice was clear and crisp, yet it held a strangely calming power.
The crowd instantly quieted down.

fingers were long and graceful. Without another word, she walked over and knelt beside the man.
She pulled a set of silver needles from her pocket, located a pressure point on the man’s arm, and with practiced ease,
inserted one.
“Hey, what do you think you’re doing?”
“Didn’t you see Master Sylvan and all those doctors looking at him? Who are you, some random girl, to just butt in like that?”

“Someone get her out of here. She’s going to kill him!“
The stunned onlookers finally found their voices and erupted in protest.
But Master Sylvan, standing to the side, just stared, mesmerized by the woman’s technique and the precise placement of the needles. A film of moisture clouded his eyes, and his fingers began to tremble uncontrollably.
“Could it be her? he thought. After all these years… she’s all grown up. Would she even recognize an old man like me?
His mind was buzzing until someone gently nudged him, snapping him back to reality.
“Master Sylvan, what about this woman…”
“Her technique is flawless,” Master Sylvan interrupted, his gaze fixed on Zina with a fiery intensity. He spoke quickly, his voice filled with excitement. “I would have done the san
thing”
“This,” he announced to the room, “is the girl from the Sinclair family I was looking for?
“It’s been a long time, Master. You’ve gotten thinner, Zina said with a small smile as she straightened up, having stabilized the man’s condition.
Her familiar face had a new maturity, making her even more captivating than before.
Master Sylvan nodded eagerly, but she continued, “Unfortunately. I have no connection to the Sinclair family anymore. So from now on, you’ll have to just call me by my name.”
The smile in her eyes seemed to melt away any lingering frost, capturing everyone’s attention.
In the silence that followed, someone shouted, “He’s waking up! He’s waking up! The man is awake!”
