The driver seemed like he hadn’t interacted with the outside world for ages. Even as he slowly opened his eyes, he lookedl completely disoriented, staring blankly at the people before him without the slightest reaction.
Andy gave the driver a few suspicious glances, finally realizing the man before him seemed to have forgotten something and frowning deeply.
“What’s going on?” Andy turned to Zina as he spoke, his gaze sharp and full of suspicion.
Zina also looked startled. “I don’t know either. Maybe he’s still adjusting after being unconscious for so long.”
Upon hearing that explanation, the displeasure on Andy’s face finally eased a bit.
Andy solemnly patted the driver’s hand, putting on a kindly facade.
“You just focus on recovering here,” Andy instructed. “I’ll come visit you later. And if you remember anything, make sure to contact me right away”
“Um, Sir, have we met before?” The driver fidgeted nervously with his fingers, his fear of Andy plain to see, as he said.
Andy waved his hand dismissively. “You’ll understand when you remember. No rush.”
“Doctor, his condition won’t last too long, will it?” Andy’s gaze snapped toward Zina as he said.
Her brow furrowed subtly, yet she still went along with his words. “It won’t take too long.
“But to speed up his memory recovery, we need to find something from that period that left a deep impression on him.”
That’s easy,” Andy waved his hand. “I’ll just take him back to the office. The only thing is that, Doctor, I’m not sure how long you’ll be staying here.
“Personally, I’d prefer if you could wait until he gets his memory back before you leave. If something happens in the meantime and we have to call you back, I’m afraid that you couldn’t make it in time, which would be far more troublesome.”
Zina looked up, catching the unmistakable hint in Andy’s eyes.
Realizing it wouldn’t be easy to leave, Zina chose not to confront Andy and simply nodded. She nodded. “Fine.
After Zina agreed, she noticed Andy visibly relax with a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Wade’s expression grew increasingly grim.
While Andy was out making a call. Wade leaned in close to Zina and whispered, “What’s gotten into you, agreeing so readily? Weren’t you dying to get out of here!”
“No rush,” Zina said calmly. “It’s not like we can’t leave whenever we want. We might as well see what a desperate man Andy has up his sleeve.”
Zina spoke with apparent calm, yet beneath her slightly trembling lashes, a storm of emotions raged.

dazed expression the whole time.
His gaze swept the room before finally settling on Zina, who seemed the most approachable. The driver then nervously slipped over to her, moving with a furtive uncase.
He said to Zina, “Um, Miss, why are you all here? 1 just heard the boss call you Doctor. Are you my doctor? What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I remember anything?”

as he stealthily peeked up at Zina with shifty, evasive
Zina’s brow furrowed slightly at the driver’s behavior, and as she looked at him, a hint of something unreadable flickered in her eyes.
“I suppose you could say I’m sort of your doctor, Zina said gently. “So, what can you remember right now? Surely some memories are coming back to you?”
He hesitated and said, “Honestly, I only vaguely remember coming here about five years ago, and I’ve been working for that boss ever since.
“But I can’t recall why I came here in the first place, or what exactly I’ve done with him. It’s all just a blank–I can’t remember a thing
His eyes clouded with anguish, yet with no way to case his torment, he could only pin all his hopes on Zina.
