Chapter 130
After a prolonged calm, a wave of savage fury suddenly erupted.
Kevin snapped, “Well, look at you–getting too big for your boots and forgetting your place. Let me remind you, we raised you, gave you everything you have—”
Zina cut him off her voice cool and dismissive. “Enough. Cut the crap?
Zina cut Kevin off mid–sentence, her tone cool and casual. Before he could react, she pressed. “Cut to the chase. What do
you want!”
Kevin said threateningly. “Ill pick a place. We’ll talk when we meet. Think it over. Zina—your things are still at the Sinclair family house. If you want them back, you’d better come quietly
past
“Fine, Just leave my stuff alone Zana’s voice carried just the right amount of feigned fear, yet her face remained expressionless as she stared at the open laptop displaying the latest research project from her newly acquired company.
The project was progressing smoothly, with projected earnings satti in to stain everyone at the Base for a full year.

Completely engrossed, Zina had forgotten the call was still connected unnd Kevin’s voice suddenly came through the
receiver again.
Kevin sneered. “Wouldn’t it have been better if you’d pat bern cooperative from the start? Don’t worry
“As long as you agree to my terms. I won’t touch your stuff I know you want to come back to the Sinclair family. If you apologize properly to Rosie and admit your mistikes, I might even consider letting you—*
“Bad connection. I’m hanging up now.” Zina said flatly, then ended the call.
Zia couldn’t be bothered with Kevin. Without a second thought, she hung up on him.
Ugh, can’t believe I forgot to hang up. Damn it,” Zina thought.
Zina casually tossed her phone aside and continued to monitor the project’s progress.
Outside, sunlight streamed down, bathing the ground in brilliant radiance.
At 3 PM sharp, Zina arrived at the cafe Kevin had arranged, taking a window seat
Zina ordered a cup of coffee, her fingers toying with the spoon as she idly rocked the cup.
The cafe door swung open, and Zina instinctively turned her head toward the entrance
It was Kevin–she hadn’t seen him enter
Kevin strutted in a smug look on his face, swinging a bag stuffed with Zina’s belongings.
Zina’s gaze flickered slightly. So these were all that remained of her belongings in the Sinclair family
Td almost forgotten–ever since Rosie came back, I’ve been treated worse than the servants. How could there possibly be anything left for me? Zina wondered.

Chapter 130
Zina let her gaze drift downward, pretending not to have noticed anything. She picked up her coffee and took a measured
sip
A few minutes later, Kevin strode over and slammed the bag onto the table with a loud thud, his chin raised in that all–too- familiar air of superiority.
Kevin sneered, shoving the bag toward her. “Here, take your stuff. But let me make one thing clear–you went to prison of your own free will.
“Even if you try to dig up the past now, you won’t find a thing. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll drop this right now. Otherwise, you’ll end up with nothing–so don’t come crying to me.”
As he finished speaking, a vicious glint suddenly flashed in Kevin’s eyes,
Seeing Zina remain silent, Kevin smugly assumed she was intimidated by his threats and spoke up
again.
Kevin said smoothly, “Don’t be scared. As long as you sign this agreement, I’ll just pretend none of this ever happened.”
