Zina looked up and realized Kevin hadn’t just brought a bag–he was also carrying a document.
The agreement lay open before Zina, its terms now fully visible.
She said, “From this day forward, you shall sever all ties with the Sinclair family and are prohibited from ever setting foot in Jorvellan again-
Zina couldn’t even be bothered to read the rest, a subtle smirk playing in her eyes.
“Seriously? This is for me? Kevin, you really think too highly of the Sinclair family, don’t you?” Zina said.
Her mocking smile ignited a vicious glint in Kevin’s eyes–but before he could say a word, Zina’s voice cut through the air again.
Zina scoffed, “Take this agreement back. I only came today to see just how desperate you’ve become–and it’s exactly as I imagined. That absolutely delights me. As for this pile of junk you brought, do you honestly think I’d care?”
Her words landed like a scorching slap across Kevin’s face, leaving him reeling.
Kevin was utterly dumbfounded. Instinctively glancing down at the bag he’d brought, his face instantly flushed crimson with humiliation.
At that moment, Zina rose to her feet. A cold glint flashed in Zina’s eyes as she said evenly, “Alright.

Zina turned and walked away without a backward glance, leaving Kevin to bellow furiously at her retreating figure–but she didn’t bother to respond.
Stepping out of the café, Zina was bathed in warm sunlight. She rubbed her slightly sore eyes, and a long, weary sigh escaped her lips the moment she opened them.
Chris came running over and called out, “Boss. I’m here.”
Chris came bounding over from a distance, a goofy grin plastered across his face.
For a split second, Zina couldn’t even bring herself to admit Chris was one of her subordinates. She raised a hand, stopping him in his tracks, and said curtly, “Where’s the car? Let’s talk there first.”
Chris nodded hurriedly and led Zina toward the parked car.
