Chapter 812 Attacked by Netizens
Hayley’s POV:
As my destined mate, his scent had a way of taking my breath away.
Inside me, Hera was going crazy, barely staying in check. I held onto Benjamin tightly, unable to stop myself from kissing him.
Our lips kept meeting again and again, the moment getting hotter with every second, until I somehow managed to pull away using the tiny bit of control I had left.
Benjamin rested his forehead on mine, our breathing unsteady and close. “What’s the matter, Hayz?” he asked gently.
“I miss you,” I whispered, my voice full of ache.
“I miss you more. I love you,” he said, holding me even closer.
“Mate now! Hurry!
“Why are you waiting? Do it!” Hera shouted in my head.
I lost all reason for a second. I reached out, trying to pull his clothes off without thinking about anything else.
But Benjamin caught my wrists. “We haven’t officially bonded under the Moon Goddess yet. Are you really ready for this?”
“Why does that matter?” I pulled him toward me. “Just answer one thing–do you want me or not?”
He gave a soft laugh and exhaled slowly. “We don’t even have any protection right now….
I didn’t care. I dragged him to the bed and shoved him onto it. “Seriously? I finally made the first move, and you’re hesitating?!”
We got completely wrapped up in each other. Every touch, every breath–we were lost in it. But we didn’t allow our wolves to fully connect.
A part of me still wasn’t ready to show Benjamin just how powerful Hera really was. And honestly, I wanted our full union to happen after we were married. That way, it’d be blessed by the Moon Goddess..
It wasn’t until evening that we finally drifted off, lying in each other’s arms.
When I woke up, my mind was racing with everything that had happened lately in the Cyclone Pack.
Should I bring up Truman? Should I tell Benjamin how he won’t stop bothering me?
It wasn’t about making Benjámin jealous. It just felt like he had a right to know, especially since he was my destined mate.
But I was unsure about Truman. What if Benjamin lost it and did something reckless? Someone could end up hurt.
Truman wasn’t weaker than Benjamin–maybe even more reckless and dangerous.

And I didn’t want Benjamin getting injured. I couldn’t stand the thought of seeing him in some bloody. terrible fight.
I let out a soft sigh without even meaning to.
Right then, Benjamin’s hand slid under the blanket and wrapped around my waist.
“What’s on your mind?” he asked quietly.
My cheek brushed softly against his as I whispered, “I just kind of missed you.”
He let out a soft chuckle. “Aren’t I lying right next to you?”
“Maybe I’m just not used to being apart for so long,” I said casually, steering the conversation away. “Aren’t you curious about what happened at the Cyclone Pack? You’re really not interested at all?”
“As long as you want to talk, I’ll always listen. But if you don’t, I won’t push you.”
He pulled me even closer. “Hayz, no matter what happens, my heart belongs to you. I love you.”
Benjamin was my destined one–my safe haven. Being with him felt like being wrapped in a warm spring breeze, and that comfort made everything feel okay.
For once, I let go of everything, the missing scientists, Truman, the mess with the Shadow Pack… all of it. I just let myself rest in his arms and drifted back to sleep.
The next morning, I was relaxing at home, minding my own business–yet somehow, I became the target of a massive wave of online hate!
Out of nowhere, rumors about me were everywhere.
And most of them were coming from the Winterbite Pack.
