Chapter 20
“It’s impossible, Princess. That won’t happen,” Darkvenom’s voice sounded firm and heavy, as if trying to convince both himself and me.
“Then where is he now? What really happened to Alpha Liam?” I asked with a trembling voice, my chest feeling tight as if it were about to explode. “I’m afraid he is in danger.”
“That’s impossible. We should think positively, Princess.”
“We’ve tried contacting him multiple times, but none of our calls were answered,” the wolf said briefly, his eyes averting, as if hiding something worse.
swallowed hard, turned, and prepared to leave, pain and confusion swirling in my chest.
But my steps halted when a stranger emerged from behind the trees, holding something in his hands.
Princess Helena, this is a message from Alpha Liam,” he said in a formal tone, his voice steady despite knowing the significance of the object he held could change everything.
My heart raced. I took a deep breath, trying to control myself, then with trembling hands, I >pened the small box-a record player.
My hopes soared, hoping for something sweet, tender words that would erase all the pain.
But my face darkened instantly. My body froze as I looked at the screen.
Alpha Liam.
He was cradling another female wolf with tenderness, in the middle of a quiet, dark forest. At hat moment, I was waiting there with hope, in the same place.
Impossible! This must be fake! Edited!” I screamed, my voice shattering like broken glass.
But it was all real. Liam’s clothes were exactly the same as what he wore today, the style, the novements, and the small details that couldn’t be faked.
His words from our first meeting echoed in my mind: ‘I do have a beautiful wolf.’
All lies all along.
He had another wolf. As he had once said without a care.
The female wolf was beautiful, graceful, clearly from an elite, honorable pack.
They looked so suited for each other, even happy.
Tears streamed down my face, soaking my cold cheeks.
‘So is this the ‘something special’ he promised?”
Suddenly, Darkvenom’s wolf voice broke the silence. “What’s wrong, Princess?”
I looked at them one by one, seeing faces filled with pretense and hatred.
They were liars. Traitors who brought me here just to trap me.
I slammed the device to the ground roughly, then ran aimlessly, trying to escape the crushing reality.
“Princess! Where are you going?” they shouted, chasing after me.
“Don’t follow me!” I screamed, my voice filled with despair and anger.
I knew they had captured the wolf who handed over the recording, but I didn’t care.
I ran as fast as I could, enveloped in pain and shattered emotions.
My wolf appeared, helping me speed up, until their tracks vanished.
But in my mind, only one name echoed: Liam.
That bastard.
I fell to my knees on the damp ground, gasping for breath, tears streaming uncontrollably.
My fists clenched, pounding the hard ground with burning anger.
“Why did you do this to me?” I sobbed, my voice mingling with the cold night wind.
‘I thought… I had enough.”
My body shook violently, my chest feeling tight as if being squeezed tightly.
loved him-with everything I had.
And he repaid it with betrayal, with another wolf.
Suddenly, a sharp voice cut through the silent night.
Stop crying, weak princess.”
turned quickly.
Behind the shadows of the trees, a familiar figure emerged: Liora.
Her steps were calm, confident, her lips curled in a victorious smirk.
Her blonde hair was neatly tied back, her eyes burning with hatred.
Do
you think you’re the only one for him?” her voice was cold and piercing. “Liam is just playing vith you, Helena. You’re just his tool for revenge.”
rise slowly, my body trembling with anger and sorrow.
Go away! Why are you following me? I thought you were already destroyed.”
Liora laughs bitterly, her voice filled with burning resentment.
‘I escaped from the hell you left behind. But the important thing is, Liam never loved you. He just wanted you to fall in love with him, so that when he discarded you, your pain would be deeper All his sweet gestures? Fake. It was part of his plan.”
‘Alpha Liam was heartbroken because you once rejected him. He approached you not out of love. But for revenge.”
Like a heavy hammer striking my chest, my fists clenched tightly, my wolf howled in anger.
“Shut up! Or I’ll kill you, you lowly traitor!”
Liora laughed with hatred.
“I am lowly. I’m willing to be the enemy’s whore to survive. I joined the enemy’s pack to destroy you. I’m jealous and hate you, Helena!”
Rage filled every pore of my body.

“You won’t be able to destroy me! We’re on different levels! How about I end your life tonight?” Liora laughed hysterically, her mockery pouring out.
“I’ll do it first. You’ve ruined my life, messed up my plans, and taken everything I hoped for.” Her voice was full of pain. “And now you have to accept it!”
“I’m stronger than you, Liora!” I was ready to attack.
But the atmosphere suddenly changed.
A cold wind blew, leaves falling slowly.
“But if I bring my elite wolves, the result of my breeding, how will you survive?” Liora’s laughter echoed painfully.
From behind the trees, three tall, imposing figures emerged.
Their aura was dark, dangerous.
Elite wolves. Mercenary warriors.
“Meet my friends,” Liora said, crossing her arms. “I gathered them from packs that see you as a threat. One night is enough to erase your tracks.”
I took a step back, my wolf rising to growl angrily but warily.
Liora sneered.
‘You’re alone, Princess. Liam? He’s busy with others. He won’t come to your aid.”
They began to surround me, low growls echoing in the cold air.
My eyes darted wildly for an opening.
But I was unstable.
They were strong.
‘Sink, Helena!” one of them shouted.
Suddenly, a deep, ancient howl echoed from the distance.
Shaking the ground and the air.
Two figures darted out from the right side of the forest.
One in a dark red robe, exuding authority.
The other with eyes filled with anger I recognized all too well.
Elder Elira.
Samuel.
