I opened my eyes to find that I could see nothing but pitch black, there was something over my face. I think it’s a bag. I could move my head, but nothing else. Someone had tied
me against a chair tightly, binding my hands behind me. I tensed up when I tried to move, but felt rough rope biting into my skin making it raw. I kept trying to get loose, but
stopped when I felt warmth dripping down my fingers, blood. I tried to open my mouth to scream, but there was something in my mouth, holding my mouth open and refraining me from speaking. Is it a rag?
“Welcome back, Bast.” A man said in my ear with a demonic chuckle as I felt hands making the way up my thigh. It was the same thing Damien had done earlier, but this man touching me made me feel dirty, and disgusting. The way he said my name sent chills up my spine, I knew immediately that this man was not human. Then the bag was taken off of my head, blinding me against the sudden lights surrounding me.
I looked around to find that I was in my bedroom, tied up next to my bed. There were a few men I’d never seen before, standing around me, and then my eyes locked onto a familiar female. Dana. She stood off to the side, near the door. She was wearing the same outfit as before, but with a scarf around her neck, covering the marks from when Damien had nearly killed her. She was looking at me with a smirk, she is going to enjoy what was about to happen to me.
The men surrounding me were big, not nearly as big as Damien, but still big enough to be terrifying as they surrounded me. Their eyes were all blood–red, looking down at me in a way that told me something I wish I didn’t know. They were going to kill me, but they are going to take their time, and they are going to enjoy it.
“Hey, Bast. Remember me?” Dana said as she came closer and took the gag out of my mouth. She paused for a moment to allow me to speak, but when she realized I wasn’t going to, she continued. “These are some friends of mine, I told them what Damien did to me, and they were more than happy to help me take my revenge.”
“Damien did nothing but call you out for being a shameless slut.” I said, trying hard to slow my heart rate down. I knew they could all hear it. The men surrounding me were clearly getting excited when they saw how scared I was.
She snarled as she slapped me, making my mouth fill with blood. “I’m going to enjoy watching what my friends are going to do to you, kitten.” she said kitten in an obviously

mocking tone, smiling brightly when she saw the blood dripping out of my mouth.
“I’m going to enjoy when Damien rips you in half, you ugly bitch.” I said after spitting out the blood, then looked back up at her with a bloody smile. I knew something she didn’t
know.
“What are you talking about?” She shrieked, unable to contain her composure. She saw the smile on my face, and believed me. What human would possibly smile when being
faced with a situation like this, unless they really knew something she didn’t.
One of the men grabbed my face, and forced me to look up at him, his eyes baring down into mine. “What are you talking about, little human?” He spoke harshly, he was terrified. They were all terrified of what I knew that they didn’t. The conclusion wasn’t hard to come to, once I saw their reactions. Damien wasn’t just important in the human world, he was important in the vampire world as well.
I started laughing, giggling so hard that the ropes began to cut into my skin again. But I still didn’t stop laughing, despite the pain. I saw my parents, standing in the hallway, looking into my room at what was happening. They were looking right at me, but their faces were expressionless, even after seeing their only child bound and beaten. Dana turned and saw them, then pulled a roll of money out of her purse, and handed it to my father. My mother looked in once more, making eye–contact with me. Then she shut the door. This made me bust out laughing again, this time not from amusement, but laughter was the easiest response for me to have. “Do what you’re going to do, I’m not telling you anything.” I said once I stopped shaking from laughter.
