Lucy stood up and left the internet café without a second glance.
Enoch and Abigail quickly got into their car. The engine started, and they sped off into the night. The woman stood an at the bar entrance, her face glowing with excitement and satisfaction.
Her manic laughter pierced the stillness of the night, sharp and jarring.

“Who would’ve thought? Just roughing up some useless woman in prison could bring in this kind of cash. Way faster than running a business!
“Back when I was working, I couldn’t even make 300 thousand dollars a month. And I’d have to scrimp and save for at least ten years to get 300 thousand. Five years in prison, and I’ve got it all at once,” the woman muttered, smirking
The more she talked, the happier she got. Her smile turned ugly. “It’s a shame that useless woman got out of jail before me I could’ve done something to get myself locked up again, beaten her more, and probably taken more money from the Connor family.
“Still, this three hundred thousand will last me a good while. And when it’s gone, I’ll just go back to the Connor family and bleed them dry again.”
“You seem awfully proud of yourself,” Lucy suddenly said, her voice low and carrying a chilling weight.
The woman jumped at the unexpected voice behind her, her laughter cutting off abruptly. She spun around, her eyes wary as she glared at Lucy. “What the hell? You scared the crap out of me! Are you looking to die?”
Lucy stared at her coldly, her gaze devoid of fear, as if she were watching a clown perform a pitiful act.
The woman squirmed under Lucy’s unrelenting stare, growing increasingly agitated. She widened her eyes and barked,” What the hell are you looking at? Keep staring, and I’ll gouge your eyes out!”
Suddenly, a wide smile spread across Lucy’s face. In the dim light, that smile appeared disturbingly eerie, sending a chill down the woman’s spine.
The woman had never come across someone like Lucy before. She was a troublemaker even before landing in prison, and once inside, she became even more brazen, earning herself a reputation as a notorious hothead.
She was used to people shrinking away from her. No one had ever dared to look her straight in the eye, let alone speak to her like that.
“You must have a death wish,” the woman snarled, her face contorted with fury. She raised her hand, aiming to slap Lucy with such force that it seemed she wanted to smash Lucy’s face to pieces.
But Lucy didn’t budge, her eyes glinting with mockery. Just as the woman’s hand was about to land, Lucy wnipped out a knife from her pocket, the blade’s tip aligning perfectly with the woman’s palm.

Lucy yanked the knife out in one swift motion, causing blood to spurt violently The woman’s body trembled, and she was on the edge of unconsciousness.
Lucy grabbed the woman by her hair and dragged her step by step into the pitch black alley nearby

The woman sobbed, her voice trembling. “Wh–What do you want from me?”
Lucy tilted her head, her tone light and almost playful. “Oh, nothing much. Just your eyes, your tongue, your ears, and your tendons. That’s all.”
With every word Lucy spoke, the woman shook her head frantically. “No! I don’t want that! I didn’t do anything to you. Why are you doing this to me?”
Lucy raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. “Why do I need a reason to do this to you?”
“Please, I’m begging you. Let me go. I’ll give you money…” the woman pleaded.
Lucy burst into laughter, sharp and mocking. “Money? I don’t need your money. All I want is to see you broken.”
The woman collapsed to the ground, her body trembling uncontrollably. Tears and snot streamed down her face as she wailed, “I was wrong! I swear I was wrong! Please, don’t do this!”
The butterfly knife spun gracefully between Lucy’s slender fingers, its sharp metallic clicks slicing through the suffocating silence in the alley.
The woman’s eyes widened in horror as she scrambled backward, only for Lucy to grab her ankle with a vice–like grip. “What are you doing? No, don’t! Please, no!” The woman thrashed wildly, kicking her legs in desperation, but Lucy’s strength was overwhelming, and the woman couldn’t break free.
Lucy tightened her grip on the knife, her gaze as cold and unfeeling as ice. “Weren’t you going to gouge out my eyes? Let me show you how it’s really done.”
With that, she drove the knife into the woman’s left eye with swift, unrelenting force.
A scream tore through the night, raw and primal, piercing the darkness like a blade.
Lucy didn’t hesitate. She twisted the knife within the woman’s eye socket before pulling it out, then plunged it into her right eye. Blood gushed down the woman’s face in a crimson torrent.
The woman writhed on the ground, clutching her ruined eyes as she howled in agony.
“Now, it’s your tongue’s turn,” Lucy said, prying the woman’s mouth open with brutal force. She slid the knife inside and, with a single twist, severed the tongue cleanly.
The woman let out a garbled wail, blood spurting from her mouth and staining the ground beneath her.
Lucy picked up a jagged stone and approached the woman, her voice calm yet chilling. “Every bit of pair Camila in prison, you’ll experience it all today.”

She raised the stone high and brought it down on the woman’s ear with a sickening crunch. The ear was reduced to a mangled mess after several hits, and the woman could no longer hear a thing.
Though the woman had passed out from the pain, Lucy wasn’t finished. She crouched down, her knife gleaming ominously in the dim light. With a swift motion, she severed the tendons in the woman’s hands and feet.
The woman’s body shook for a moment before she came to. She let out soft, eerie moans that echoed through the dark alley, like the cries of a tormented soul.
