**Third Person POV 

Meanwhile, Rowan sat in his office. 

The blinds were tightly closed, and the door was shut.. 

Everyone in the department was whispering quietly. 

Rowan’s brows were furrowed as he held the project proposal Moira Ashenford had prepared. 

Moira Ashenford paid no attention to his expression, instead sitting beside him, leaning against his shoulder, her hands restlessly teasing his desire. 

Though she wasn’t as beautiful as Elara, she was “wild” enough, proactive enough, and clingy enough. From pursuit to seduction, she had one trick after another, her persistent tactics successfully inserting her into his life. 

For men–heart and body don’t always sync. 

“Rowan darling…” she moved closer, her fingers already exploring below his abdomen, “do you want to do it right here…” 

“Stop fooling around!” 

Rowan roughly grabbed her hand away, his face livid, slamming the project proposal heavily on the desk. 

“You said you pulled seven or eight all–nighters to create this proposal?” 

He already knew she wasn’t as capable as Elara, but he hadn’t expected… she could be this incompetent. 

Complete nonsense, full of holes, utterly ridiculous. 

He rubbed his temples, feeling extremely irritated. 

When Elara led the project department, he felt invincible. Now–he felt like he was stuck in quicksand. 

Moira Ashenford was stunned by the scolding, then pouted pitifully, tears welling in her eyes. 

Just then, Rowan’s phone rang. He glanced at the screen and walked to the window to answer, “Speak.” 

“Luna went out again today. She visited a high school, stayed there for a long time, then left the pack territory and went to a manor called ‘Orchid Court‘ in neutral territory.” 

“Orchid Court?” Rowan’s brow twitched. 

“That manor is very expensive, with tight security. Non owners can’t get in at all.” 

The person on the other end reported truthfully. 

Rowan’s eyes darkened with cold fury: “You said non–owners can’t get in? What if someone inside knows her?” 

“As long as the owner calls ahead, they can certainly get in.” 

“Send me the address. Keep watching her.” 

“Understood.” 

After hanging up, Rowan irritably threw his phone aside. Here his little mistress had submitted a completely terrible project proposal, while his wife’s behavior was becoming increasingly strange. 

As he turned around, Moira Ashenford had somehow followed him again, wrapping her arras around his waist like an octopus, whining endlessly. 

Chapter 25 

Hmph, why do you care about her? You don’t love her anymore 

Rowan suppressed his disgust, peeling her off like an octopus, gripping her shoulders with both hands, his tone ice cold “Reds the project prese serious about it. If you don’t understand something, ask the project department team leaders.” 

With that, he walked away without looking back. 

Moira Ashenford was so angry she smashed all the files in the office. 

Ask the team leaders? What a joke! Ask people who worked under Elara? What a ridiculous joket 

Unwilling to accept this, she immediately called the internal line, summoning the three project team leaders and giving them a thorough stolting Team leader Ruth couldn’t stand it and talked back, only to get slapped across the face. 

The other two were angry but dared not speak. 

This wasn’t some princess–she was a rabid dog.
