Chapter 63
**Third Person Perspective:**
Leo stood at the room doorway, mouth agape, body rigid, watching helplessly as she jumped down, too shocked to even chase after her.
It wasn’t until the splash of a body hitting the water that he snapped back to reality and rushed to the window.
But the seaside was pitch black – nothing could be seen.
She had actually jumped into the sea herself…
His phone rang again in his pocket.
This time, after the phone rang for ten seconds, he answered: “Assistant Clay, sorry, I was driving and my phone fell under the seat. What! Everyone gets fired if she’s not found? This… this… the Alpha can’t do this! I don’t know anything about the situation – this is very unfair to me!”
He peered down at the seaside, his expression turning vicious.
Clay, following Garrett Wylder’s instructions, said nothing more and hung up directly.
Leo looked at the disconnected phone and immediately called Amelia, whispering poison in her ear: “I’m a veteran of the subsidiary. The Alpha is making such a big fuss over a secretary now – what exactly is this Secretary Elara to him? Does he care about her that much?”
Amelia’s grip tightened on the steering wheel.
“Amelia, he’s giving us such harsh demands before we even arrive. What if… what if Secretary Elara really is missing? Where are we supposed to find her? This is unreasonable!”
He knew about the situation between Amelia and Garrett Wylder, deliberately provoking her.
Amelia: “Stop talking. Let’s meet at the factory first.”
“Amelia! We’re counting on you! You were personally sent by the chairman. I suggest you call the chairman now and have him manage the Alpha properly.”
“Shut up. It’s not your place to drive a wedge between father and son. I’ll figure something out, and you keep your mouth shut.”
Amelia made a call, then angrily threw her phone onto the passenger seat.
Leo looked at his phone with a cold smile, knowing Amelia was already provoked. Even without his words, she would jump out to oppose.
He looked toward the sea again: “Beauty, you chose death yourself. You can’t blame me.”
Garrett Wylder arrived at the factory.
Rowan followed closely behind.
In the administrative building’s conference room, factory management and several nearby officials who had arrived first were all crowded together discussing.
Everyone looked at him.
Those blocking his path hurriedly stepped aside.
The factory people had never seen the group company’s new Alpha, but as soon as he entered, his inmate authority silenced them all.
Garrett Wylder walked to the middle of the conference table: “Has she been found?”

His gaze swept across everyone’s faces, rendering the entire room speechless.
But someone had to answer as a representative. The factory manager, being the top
leader, naturally had to respond.
Everyone looked toward Weber in unison.
Garrett Wylder’s beautiful golden eyes also glanced at him. Whether from fear or being stunned by the Alpha’s perfect appearance, Weber’s heart raced: “Alpha, the person… hasn’t been found yet.”
“You’re Weber?”
Garrett Wylder asked coldly.
“Yes, yes.”
“As I understand it, you were the one who received Secretary Elara today, so logically, you would know her whereabouts best.”
His voice was calm and steady, yet carried an oppressive force that could pierce through hearts.
Weber’s heart beat even faster.
His eyes flickered, breathing became difficult, but he had to force himself to answer: “I did receive Secretary Elara, and I was the last to see her off. But I only escorted her to the factory gate, then returned to the factory. I truly don’t know where Secretary Elara went after that.”
“Truly don’t know?”
Garrett Wylder leaned forward, bowing his tall frame, his slender fingers pressing against the table surface, sharp eyes staring at him: “What if I’ve already discovered you’re lying?”
Both sentences were questions, but the confidence suggesting he already knew the full truth immediately put the man over a blazing fire.
Weber’s head buzzed.
“…No, no, Alpha, I’m not lying. I really don’t know Secretary Elara’s whereabouts.”
Either way meant death – his instinct was still to gamble.
The other factory insiders were now looking down, sweating, not daring to breathe heavily.
Garrett Wylder said nothing.
These people’s reactions had fully confirmed his intuition.
Elara’s disappearance was definitely connected to them.
Rowan, who had been listening, was now furious. Unable to contain himself, he grabbed Weber by the collar: “Where is my wife? What did you do! her?”
