Easton and Connor stared at the engagement token in Hayden’s hand.
Almost instinctively, they pulled out the ones they themselves had once given to Debbie.
It was exactly as Hayden had said.
Yes, Debbie might throw tantrums–but her parents would never allow such a thing. Unless… unless they agreed with her.
Unless they had already chosen someone else for her, and no longer needed any of them.
“Call her,” Easton ordered coldly. “I want to hear it from her own mouth. Even if this is just he being willful, I refuse to accept this without an explanation. She owes us that much.”
“Debbie didn’t even bother to face us properly before cutting us off.”
The words had barely fallen when Hayden and Connor dialed her number without hesitation.
The line rang several times–only to be met with the mechanical voice of a system message.
Both men froze. Slowly, they lifted their phones to look again, disbelief written across their faces
She had blocked them.
Debbie had blocked them all.
Connor’s expression turned stormy, while Hayden, refusing to accept it, tried again and again to
dial.
Before long, even Easton and Kenji joined in, placing calls from their own phones.
But no matter how many times they tried, the result was the same: the cold, impersonal tone of
he machine.
This time, there was no denying it–Debbie had erased them completely.
Their faces darkened as the truth sank in.
‘We spoiled her too much!” Easton growled, his jaw tight. “We gave her the audacity to pull something like this. When we find her, she needs to be taught a lesson–one she’ll never forget!”
Connor and Kenji’s expressions hardened in agreement.
No matter what they had done to her in the past, blocking all of them at once? That was too far. Too insolent!
Yet beneath their simmering anger, a thin thread of unease wound itself through their hearts.
Because before now–no matter how furious Debbie had been with them–she had never treated
them like this.
It felt like… like she truly meant to cut them off.
The realization sat like a stone in their chests, heavy and suffocating.
Just then, Hayden’s voice cut through their silence.
“You don’t believe she’ll give up, do you?” His tone was steady, but his eyes gleamed with a strange determination. “I remember what you all said before–that none of you wanted to marry Debbie. That you’d rather stay by Charlie’s side.”
Easton’s brows knit together. He turned toward Hayden, his voice sharp.

What exactly are you trying to say?”
Connor and Kenji’s faces also became gloomy, sensing something off.
Infazed, Hayden continued calmly, “If none of you are willing to marry her, then I’ll do it. I’ll acrifice myself for your sake. I’ll be the one to get engaged to Debbie. Whether the Sinclair amily is really moving overseas or not, I’m going to find out. I already have a good idea of where hey’d go–and with a little digging, I’ll track them down.”
le squinted his eyes and intoned sharply, “You don’t want her? Fine. Then give her to me.”
The seriousness etched into Hayden’s face stunned the others. At first, Connor and Kenji thought e was joking. But as his words sank in, they realized with a jolt–he wasn’t.
le meant it. He truly wanted Debbie.
he air in the room shifted. Connor and Kenji’s expressions instantly sank into darkness.
Connor sucked in a deep breath, then exploded in a furious roar.
Hayden! Have you lost your mind?”
Did you forget what we agreed to before?”
