This time Mia returned to school quickly.

In the dorm, she excitedly told me, “I’m about to start filming! It’s all set. The crew can start shooting in a few days.”
I said, “Congratulations.”
Mia snorted smugly, then went into the bathroom.
Her perfume was getting stronger and stronger. I wondered if she was trying to mask some other smell.
Before filming began, Mia still attended classes normally.
But these past few days she was obviously much more active than before, telling everyone she was going to be a star.
Some classmates paid attention to her, and naturally some
envied her too.
When I walked into the classroom that day, I saw a group of people surrounding Mia.
“Can you help me out? I don’t ask for much, just let me be an
extra.”

Mia was really enjoying this feeling of being flattered.

Suddenly someone said, “Ugh! What’s that awful smell? What is that?”
“That’s disgusting!”
The group that had been surrounding Mia instantly scattered.
Everyone else packed up their things and ran out of the classroom together.
I was about to run with everyone else when I saw Mia standing frozen in place.
Someone behind me said, “Mia had an accident!”
That classroom had to be aired out, so we were moved to a
different one.
But Mia was nowhere to be found.
After my afternoon classes, Caleb came to pick me up.
“Mia’s in the hospital again, did you know?”
I knew something must have happened to Mia again, but I didn’t know she was hospitalized.
“Why?”

Caleb said, “I wasn’t going to tell you, afraid it would upset you.”
Thinking about what happened in the classroom today, and considering everything Mia had been through, I looked it up online and could roughly guess the reason.
Mia probably had an anal fistula, which caused the incontinence.
No wonder she’d been spraying so much perfume – she was trying to cover up the smell.
But obviously that smell couldn’t be masked.
After thinking it over, I asked Caleb to take me to the hospital.
He was silent for a while, but eventually drove me to the hospital.
I entered Mia’s room while he and the bodyguards waited
outside.
“Mia.”
As soon as I approached the bed, Mia started screaming like she’d gone mad.
Caleb came in, made sure I was okay, then went back out.

Mia was pale as a ghost, looking like a demon, her expression full of resentment and unwillingness: “Get out! Are you here to laugh at me?”
I sighed, “Mia, don’t be like this. I’m genuinely worried about you. Even though you can’t be a big star anymore, you should think about Grandpa. Grandpa Christmas is getting old and has a bad heart. What if your illness upsets him?”
I deliberately mentioned big star, heart disease, and medication.
I figured Mia would understand.
Sure enough, Mia, who had been going crazy on the bed, suddenly stopped, looked up at me, and burst into laughter.
Caleb came in and pulled me out.
Mia was still laughing.
Caleb dragged me into the car and sternly asked, “What are you doing? Didn’t I tell you that if you want to do something, tell me and I’ll do it! Who gave you permission to take risks?”
He’s been getting more and more fierce lately.
I said, “Because you have people protecting me outside, I’m not scared. What are you afraid of?”
Caleb glared at me. After a long while, he turned away from me
