Only then did Zina remember that when she left the Base, she had indeed promised to return in a couple of days. And today was the day she had set.
Her mind cleared. Zina parted her lips and said, “Let’s go. Good chance to check on that guy.
“So, Boss, you’ve still got him on your mind. I’ve already asked the instructors to keep a close eye on him–he hasn’t been up to anything unusual lately,” said Chris.
Just thinking about the man who remained utterly defiant even before Zina, Chris felt a thrill of anticipation rising within
