After a while, he squeezed out words from his teeth, “The time
given by Party A is very ample, no need to put pressure on
yourself. It seems like I, as the boss, am deliberately squeezing
you.”
“No, no pressure.”
“Slow and steady wins the race.”
“Don’t worry, short time doesn’t mean I’ll just do it

Adelaide didn’t know how to respond to that at first, and
Reginald was clearly in a bad mood, he didn’t even say
anything.

Spencer took a deep breath, held back his emotions, and said, “I don’t care how you get that guy, but don’t do anything to hurt Adele. Amanda, did you not take my words to heart at all?”
“She just wouldn’t leave Garrett alone.”
“Why didn’t you say that kid was bothering Adele?”
“No way!” Amanda refused to believe it no matter what.
Spencer couldn’t stand her, “Just go back and cooperate with the police. Don’t act crazy here. I’m not joking with you.”
Seeing Spencer’s terrifying warning look, Amanda immediately stopped throwing a tantrum in front of him.
She pouted and turned to look for her mother.
Back at the office, Adelaide’s phone never stopped buzzing, no
doubt it was Garrett’s message bombs.
She was really annoyed, was even thinking about getting a divorce, so she held back from blocking him.
Now it’s do or die.
After the massage, she felt like the whole world was quiet.
All she wanted now was to hear from Finley. Once he agreed to the conditions, everything would be fine.
She really wanted to get rid of these flies as soon as possible
now.
Get in the right mood, Adelaide focused on the design. Just when Mara Ortega was about to send the design draft to Reginald for review, she came back hesitantly.
“Guys, Nathan said our boss is in a bad mood. Going in now would just be asking for trouble. I suggest we don’t go in to get fired before the end of the day. Mara whispered loud enough
for everyone to hear.
Adelaide’s hand holding the stylus froze.
Before I could even look up, another colleague, Jorge Harper,
chimed in, “The boss just hurriedly left and then suddenly came
back. I reckon something must have happened, I’ve never seen
the boss so anxious before.”
