“He said if I didn’t want to go abroad, it’s okay to stay at
Evercrest. He wanted me to move there and live with him.”

Adelaide took another bite of lamb skewers, “That villa was
renovated just like I told him when I was eighteen.”
Teresa was a bit surprised, then said seriously, “Adele, this big
flat, Reginald decorated it in the style you like now.”

take Ms. Sampson home, so here I am, Ms. Sampson.”
She was not hesitant, she agreed readily.

Mr. Thorton still going to ask me about last night’s events?”
“Mr. Thorton wanted to know what Ms. Pierce’s attitude
towards Spencer is now,” Nathan explained tactfully.
Teresa squinted and asked, “I’m just curious, what’s Mr.
Thorton’s attitude towards my niece Adele?”
At the same time, Adelaide was getting ready to leave and
suddenly sneezed.
Then her phone rang.
The caller ID showed Finley’s secretary.
Adelaide’s expression turned serious, and she chose to answer
