Eliza bought breakfast and came back.
Bethany had no appetite.
Under Eliza’s earnest persuasion, she reluctantly took a bite.
She let Eliza go back first.
Eliza was the maid in the villa, with tasks to do. Only after
making sure Bethany was okay, Eliza left.
After Bethany finished her drip, she took a ride back to Vespera
Villa to change her clothes.
She is still wearing the pajamas she wore after taking a bath last
night.
She came out after changing clothes, and someone knocked on
the door.
Eliza went to open the door and two people arrived.
“Hello, is this Mr. McConnell’s residence?”
“Was it you? Are you all?”

“We were employees of Cassie’s studio, coming to deliver a
painting to Mr. McConnell.”
Eliza invited them in.
Two people carried the painting inside.
Bethany was stunned to see that it was the artwork exhibited
by Cassie at the exhibition.
It was her birthday gift to Cassie.
Did Cassie sell to Terrence?
Bethany bit her lip.
She did disappoint Cassie indeed.
So, Cassie didn’t even want the birthday gift she was given…
Bethany left the villa, her throat feeling uncomfortable.
She hailed a car on the roadside and went to the Mendez’s villa.
On the way, Julio sent a message asking her where she was.
When she arrived, Julio was standing at the entrance of the
villa, waiting for her.
After she got off the car, Julio smiled and walked towards her,

“Come in quickly, my mom is very happy to hear that you are
coming.”
Julio’s mother’s surname is Ochoa.
Unmarried with a child, was kicked out by the family.
Later, I rented a house opposite Bethany’s place.
Although Presley had a child before marriage, she was still well-
mannered and a very gentle woman.
When Bethany was young, if her grandmother wasn’t at home,
Presley would invite her to their house for a meal.
Bethany followed Julio inside.
Presley sat in the living room, with many window decorations
placed in front of her. She was choosing.
“Mom, Beth came.”
Presley turned her head to the side.
Bethany nodded and smiled.
“Beth, is it really you? You’ve grown up so quickly, and you look
even more beautiful. Come, sit down.”

Presley waved for Bethany to come over.
Bethany sat on the armchair next to her.
Two faces facing each other.
In the middle of the chair, there is a small table with various
kinds of paper–cut window decorations on it.
“Beth, I wasn’t very satisfied with these paper–cut window decorations. Unfortunately, your grandmother passed away
many years ago. I heard from the neighbors that you are also
skilled at paper–cutting. Could you please help me cut some
window decorations?”
Bethany nodded.
But she didn’t say anything.
Presley heard Julio say that Bethany still couldn’t speak.
Presley led her around the villa and asked Bethany to help
identify where needed to be pasted.
Bethany watched it and understood. She took photos of the
necessary places with her phone.
She communicated with Presley and she could finish it in about two days.

Presley felt like she hadn’t seen Bethany in a long time and
insisted on keeping Bethany for dinner.
After dinner, Presley asked Julio to take Bethany.
After Bethany got on the car, Julio asked her, “Where is your
home?”
Bethany gestured, “I didn’t go back, I went out to buy materials,
you took me to the cloth market in the south of the city.”
“Does paper cutting require the use of cloth?”
Julio was a little surprised.
Bethany smiled and continued making gestures.
“Yes, many materials can be used for paper cutting. If you use
paper for your home decoration style, it won’t be high–end
enough.”
Bethany’s fingers were beautiful, flying and graceful when
making gestures, with her wrist bones calm.
It felt like a dance, very pleasing to the eye.
Julio was somewhat looking forward to Bethany’s finished
product.

Bethany had learned from her grandmother when she was
young and often helped her with this skill. It seems that she has also incorporated modern methods.
Maybe the student has already surpassed the teacher.
Julio took Bethany to the fabric market.
He also got off the car.
Bethany’s meaning was that he could go back first, she could
handle it alone.
“You couldn’t speak, making it inconvenient to communicate with others. Let me be your sign language interpreter for a
while.”
Bethany couldn’t resist him, so she let him follow.
They had just entered the market when Bethany saw
Terrence’s sister.
Evangeline McConnell was looking at the fabric.
Bethany entered from another path, she didn’t want to confront
Evangeline directly.
Evangeline and Terrence were twins, and they were also
twenty–nine years old this year.
