Chapter 16
One of the men ripped off the ropes holding me, and threw me down on the bed. “I can smell your virginity, little human. I can nearly taste it. If Damien really cared for you as much as my sister said, then he would have taken this from you, long ago.” He said as he climbed on top of me, then licked the side of my face. Two of the other men held me
down as the one on top of me tore off my shirt.
I tried to fight loose, but I already knew I wouldn’t be able to, not with a vampire. I didn’t have a chance with a human man, what hope did I really have against a vampire? Let alone three of them holding me down? I was a naturally small girl, and I always have
been. I’m only 5’5 and I weighed less than 100lbs, I never stood a chance against anyone, but that never stopped me from trying. Damien always found that funny that I would try to fight him, both of us knowing I would hurt myself long before I could hurt him. (2)
‘Damien, where are you? Have you not noticed yet?‘ I thought as the man continued to undress me hungrily, his fangs showing.
The man leaned down, and brought his mouth to my neck. I could feel his fangs starting to break skin as he held me down by my throat. I was beginning to give up hope of Damien showing up, then the man was no longer on top of me.

“Close your eyes, kitten.” Damien’s voice whispered in my ear as I felt something covering my nearly naked form. I did as he asked and closed my eyes as the demonic screams suddenly surrounded me, but then I opened them. I wanted to see this. No, I needed to see this.
Damien was with another man, both were dressed in three–piece suits, but the other man was a little smaller than Damien with blonde hair. They were fighting my attackers, faster than my human eyes could track, but I saw enough to know Damien and his partner were winning. They continually slammed the men against the walls, punching and biting at them, until they were subdued, then they would either be stabbed in the heart, or have it torn out by Damien or his friend. For the man that was on top of me, about to drink my blood, Damien tore out his throat with his fangs, spraying everything in the room with his blood.
They saved Dana for last, leaving her drenched in the blood of her friends, cowering in a corner as Damien slowly stalked closer. He was drenched in the blood of the men he had killed, but he didn’t seem to notice anything else at that time, other than Dana.

“Wait!” I cried out as I gathered the comforter and jumped off the bed. The second my feet hit the floor, they crumbled under me. I hadn’t noticed before how weak my legs were. As I looked down I noticed they were covered in cuts, I’m guessing from the ropes they had bound me with.
Damien was immediately by my side, helping me up. “Bast, I cannot spare her for you, not this time. Not after what she has done.” He said as he cast a glance at her, scowling.
“No.” I whispered as I looked up into his red eyes. I waited for his eyes to return to their normal blue before I continued. “I don’t want her spared.” I whispered as I took the bloodied dagger out of his hand.
He didn’t try to conceal the surprise in his eyes as I took the dagger from him. “Bast, what are you doing?” He asked as he watched me walk closer to Dana, holding the dagger so tightly my knuckles were white. He followed close behind me, curious as to what I was going to do, but didn’t try to stop me. He knew better than that, he could tell from the look in my eyes that I needed to do this, just as I needed to see them kill those men.
I dropped in front of her. Partially, so I could look into her eyes, but also due to my legs giving out again. I looked into her blue eyes, trying hard to stop myself from shaking. She was looking back at me with a smirk, obviously thinking my shaking was due to fear. “And what do you think you’re doing, little human? AGH!” She screamed as I shoved the dagger into her chest, directly into her terrible heart. D
