Chapter 6
“Wake up, little one.” Damien said, shaking me softly until my eyes fluttered open. I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked up into his electric blue eyes, hovering over me.
“Damien?” I mumbled, blinking to wake myself up. I felt my cheeks turn hot as I
remembered that I fell asleep in his arms last night. “Do vampires sleep?” I asked him as I
sat up in bed.
“No, not really.” he replied handing me a cup of coffee.

“I watched TV, looked up some things on your laptop, and took a shower.” He said as he opened my closet and started pulling out some clothes.
“What the fuck are you doing?” I asked him, after standing up and stretching.
“You said you wanted to spend time with me, so you’re going to work with me.
“I’m not a doll, I can pick out my own outfits.” I said, trying to push him away from my closet, but it was like trying to push a mountain.
“No, of course you aren’t. You’re my kitten.” He responded with a sheepish grin as he put the clothes in the bathroom.
“So am I your little one, or am I your kitten? I know I can’t make you stop calling me both. So fucking pick one already.” I said as I drank my coffee, rolling my eyes. I knew if I told him no pet names, he would find some other way to annoy me. And it would probably be worse than a cute little pet name, no matter how demeaning I found it.

“You’re my little kitten.” He said as he came over to me, took the coffee
cup out of hands, and pulled my body against his. “Shall we continue what you started yesterday, little kitten?”

I felt my face get hot again as his face was only inches from mine “I didn’t start it, you did.
“So you admit, something was going to happen yesterday?” he responded, pinning me down on the bed.

“What? No!” I whimpered, feeling myself getting wet between my legs. I couldn’t help it, this man was incredibly sexy and after all, in a couple of months I would be living with
him. How long could I really act like I didn’t want him back?
“You’re lying, little kitten.” He purred as he lowered himself between my legs, kissing me
softly on the corner of my mouth.
“Let me up, Damien.” I whimpered as I felt myself growing hotter by the second. I really did want him, it killed me how badly I wanted him to take me.
“Do you expect me to listen, when I know you’re lying to the both of us?” He whispered as he kissed the other side of my mouth before licking my bottom lip.
“Yes, I do.” I said, trying hard to control my breathing as my heart pounded in my chest.
He chuckled and kissed me hard, his tongue exploring my mouth as he held my hands with one of his, over my head. He only broke away from the kiss long enough to ask me: “Do you still want me to
stop?”
I didn’t respond, but instead I lifted my head up to bring our lips back together, before wrapping my legs around his hips. He used his other hand to rip off my shirt, scattering buttons all over the room, as he broke the kiss again. I moaned softly as he kissed a line from my lips, down my throat, until he reached the waistband of my pants. When he did, I tried not to, but still raised my hips to him with a whimper. I couldn’t hold back
my desire for him anymore, and I didn’t want to.
