The moment I saw Mom, all the hurt and injustice hit me at once.
My voice cracked as I called out, “Mom.”
She immediately rushed over and pulled me into her arms. Only when I was in my mother’s embrace did I finally feel safe.
The crowd around us saw Mom’s car and started buzzing with excitement.
“Holy shit, look at that-she’s driving a limited edition stretched Lincoln.”
“Only seriously wealthy people can afford cars like that. Looks like Brielle just fucked with the wrong person.”

Garrett yelled defiantly, “I’m the CEO of Whitmore Corp! You old bitch, do you know what you’re getting yourself into by hitting me?”
You dared to hurt my daughter-I don’t care if it’s you or your father, I’ll beat the shit out of anyone!”
