Garrett stared in shock at the scene before him the basement had been reduced to a blackened ruin
After a long moment, he violently kicked his security guard in the stomach “Where’s Rylee? I told you to save her
The guard hung his head, trembling as he answered “st, we don’t know what happened Mrs. Montgomery seems to have vanished into thin air. The firefighters said they found no remains inside.”

“Before you left, you instructed us not to disturb you and the Davis sisters, so we eventually gave up. We thought we’d report back when you returned
Just then, a mailman called from outside: “Mr. Montgomery! Mail for you!”
The security guard, seeing a chance to escape Garrett’s wrath, rushed to collect it and respectfully handed it to him.
Garrett opened it with a cold expression inside, he was shocked to find a divorce certificate.
His fingers trembled uncontrollably as he mumbled, “I forgot to withdraw it… Rylee will be heartbroken when she finds out.”
Then he reassured himself, “It’s okay. Once I find Rylee and comfort her properly, we can remarry.”
He cast one last look at the basement ruins before returning to the bedroom.
There, he discovered that every trace of my existence had been erased. The entire room had been transformed–a princess bed replaced our old one, pink curtains hung where neutral ones had been, even the floor mats were new.
Garrett suddenly exploded in rage. “Get rid of all this garbage”
“Where are my wife’s things? Bring everything back!”
The housekeeper nervously approached. “Sir, when the Davis sisters moved in, they ordered us to throw out all of Mrs. Montgomery’s belongings. They said it was on your orders.”
Garrett exploded in rage, striking the housekeeper across the face, “Who told you to listen to them?!”
The housekeeper remained silent, head bowed.
Garrett refreshed his phone again, seeing I still hadn’t responded.

Julian laughed softly, stroking my head, “Still as impatient as when you were little. We’ll get married once you’re healed.”
“My parends have already prepared everything for the wedding. Don’t worry.”
And so, I spent three full months recovering before Julian allowed me to leave the hospital
Despite his tender care, the burn scars were inevitable.
Julian noticed me staring at them and gently reassured me “Don’t worry, I’ve found the best scar removal specialist. With proper treatment, they’ fade completely”
Yet I check my head. “I want to keep them.”
These wears would remind me of the damage Garrett and the Davis sisters had inflicted
