Chapter125
I turned around and saw him striding into the room. I was
tensed immediately. I thought he was here to pick up on our
previous fight.
But all he did was take Mia from my arms and kissed her on the
cheek.
“Let’s get out of this place.” he suddenly said to me.
“What?” I asked, caught off guard.
“That vacation you talked about all the time. I think now is
probably a good time.”
I hesitated. “But you said you wanted to go to Nightshade Pack.”
As much as I wanted to leave everything behind for a while,
there were too many responsibilities weighing on us, the
Celestine flower included. But Asher seemed to have other
ideas.
“They’ll wait for me to return,” he said. “Everyone else gets to go
home and be with their mates, their families. But we’re always

the ones left behind to clean up the mess. Just this once, let’s put
everything aside and take a few days to just live.”
I hesitated. That was true.
“Plus,” he added, “If we stay here another day, something else
will come up. There will always be another problem, another
crisis. If we don’t leave now, we’ll never get the time to just be
together,” he explained, smiling slightly.
He looked at me expectantly, and I knew he was right. The
responsibilities would still be there when we got back. But for
now, maybe we deserved a break.
“Then let’s do this,” I said with a nod, my heart pounding.
My wolf, ever the rebellious one, agreed wholeheartedly.
‘Forget responsibilities, she growled playfully, and I couldn’t
help but laugh.
In less than an hour, we had packed and dressed, ready to slip
away unnoticed. Excitement bubbled in my chest–it felt like we
were teenagers sneaking out on an adventure.
We managed to slip away without a single person noticing. Thirty minutes later, we were at the airport.
Chapter125
“Now is probably a good time to give Philip a heads up,” Asher said as we waited for departure. He pulled out his phone.
The moment Philip picked up, his voice was sharp. “Where are you? Everyone’s waiting for you in the conference room! Don’t
tell me something else has come up.”
His words only confirmed that we had made the right decision.
If we had told anyone, they would have tried to stop us.
“I’m taking my family on a vacation,” Asher said simply.
“Now? When we have a million things to do? Have you
forgotten that you are the King of this kingdom?”
“And I’m also a father and a husband. Remember that when
you first found Olivia, you took 3 weeks off and I granted that
vacation right away. It’s unfair for you to ask us to always put
other people’s business before ourselves.”
Philip sighed in frustration, “Fair point but. What if we need to
make a decision with you?”
“Put them on hold or decide yourself. Because we’re not coming
back shortly!”
After he hung up, I asked curiously, “Where are we going?” I

still didn’t know the destination of our trip.
Asher gaze softened. “You always talked about visiting Turkey,
remember? You used to be obsessed with Turkish shows.”
My breath hitched. He still remembered that?
Emotion swelled in my chest. “We’ve lost so much time,” I
whispered.
“But we’re getting it back,” he said, gently pinching my cheek.
Renee giggled at our interaction, making me laugh as well.
“Oh no, I didn’t pack enough warm clothes,” I suddenly realized,
thinking of Turkey’s cooler climate.
Asher chuckled. “Baby, we’re wolves. We don’t get cold like
humans.”
Just then, the announcement rang through the airport: Flight
number 786 to Istanbul, Turkey, is now ready for departure.
Asher shifted Mia in his arms and took my hand. “Let’s go.”
And just like that, we left everything behind–at least for a little
while.

Violet’s POV
It had been a long and exhausting flight, but Mia’s endless excitement made it feel much shorter than it actually was. She chatted the entire time, her little voice bubbling over with
enthusiasm. At first we tried to hush her, worried that she might disturb the other passengers, but to our surprise, they were charmed by her. It seemed impossible for anyone to be annoyed by her boundless energy.
By the time we arrived at our destination, I was already falling
in love with the place. The moment we stepped outside, the air
felt different–lighter, freer. The architecture was breathtaking,
unlike anything I had seen before. Every building, every detail,
told a story. If it were up to me, I would have stayed here
forever.
“Can we go see the big buildings now?” Mia asked, eyes wide
with wonder as she took in the cityscape around her. It was
obvious that her guards and nannies had rarely taken her
outside of the pack’s territory. She was mesmerized, like she
had just stepped into an entirely different world.
